Dear Family, may you find comfort in knowing that your Pedro and ALL his good deeds over the years are in God's memory. "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." John 5:28,29. According to God's promise, we have the wonderful prospect of enjoying life with our loved ones in peaceful conditions on earth.

I am just a mom who lost her son a year ago. My heart broke when his heart stopped beating.

I wanted to pay tribute to your loved one on his passing day tomorrow. I did not know Pedro, but I do know what it is to lose cherished family member. It is clear he was loved and is missed!

We love them from their first breath to their last!

Today can be a hard day...remember the good times.

Stay strong! The missing them remains even as the years pass. You are in my thoughts and prayers today.

Respectfully, Forever Ryan P Frye's Mom Jeanne

My condolences to the children of my Tio Pete. Some of you may or may not remember me, but Amador Gonzales was my dad. It is a sad occasion when a fellow Texan passes on but more so when it is a Gonzales. We can remember that while here on earth GOD lends us breath but our hope is to spend eternity with The Father and The Son.

Your Cousin

He was good man, he raised his children extremely well. My last conversation with him was when I gave him a shave at my grandma's house. He was glad I had been working on my Spanish. He will be missed.

You can tell the degree of a man by the stories his sons tell of him.  This man showed a high degree of love, laughter and wisdom to his family friends and community.  He lives on in his family and the memories they share of him.

Thinking of the Gonzales family.

07-10-2013 11:39 AM -- By: Joe Rodriguez,  From: Hampton, VA

Dear Familia Gonzales, our prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of a beloved father but also celebrate his commencement into a new life with Jesus. I did not know Mr. Gonzales as I think I only met him once or twice in the early 70s.  But I do know his son Gilbert as we were close friends for 4 years at Trinity University. Sons often reflect the character of their fathers and I can see glimpses of Pedro through the life of Gilbert.  I know he was a very good man and a wonderful husband and father to his family. As believers in Jesus Christ we can have the assurance that death is not the end. We can have the glorious hope of a blessed resurrection. In 1 Corinthians 15:50-58 we read, " Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.  Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.  For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.  But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”  The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law;  but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord."  To the Gonzales family I encourage you to "be strong and of good courage, do not be dismayed or discouraged for I am with you and will never leave or forsake you."  Pedro lived a good life and he leaves behind a powerful legacy in you and your children. Avail yourselves to the comfort and peace that only Jesus can offer. May God bless you all.
